Dave
Have I stared death in the face? You bet! I know a lot of people here already know about it, but for those who don't, I talk about it here: http://www.phatmass.com/phorum/index.php?s...39entry131539
Jazz4jesus
i learned in biology that in times of great stress (not the kind you get from school) the Adrenal Medulla releases so much hormones that pain levels decrease. my proff gave the example of when he got in a car accident back in the day that shoulder straps wernt in use, he came fly forward and hit his chin in the steering wheel (lap belts used) and his teeth came through his lip, yet for a while it didnt bleed and it didnt hurt cause of the increased hormones. if this is true (and im sure it is cause my proff is cool and smart) then there was something wrong with me cause when i fell down the mountain, man did it hurt, actually think about it that was a few mins once my cousin got the scooter off of me. My brother didnt complain one bit and he was better off, maybe since he was worst he had more hormones. All i know for sure is i went into shock, shock isnt fun
