-I---Love
Okay, so since we have LIEBERMAN, DEAN, GEPHARDT, KERRY, EDWARDS, SHARPTON, CLARK, BRAUN and KUCINICH all currently running to be the Democratic Candidate in the primaries... I am interested in who everyone is planning to vote for and why? Whether or not you're voting for someone else in the final Presidental election, the primaries, of course, determine which Democratic Candidate will be in the final running. With all the issues we have to weigh - and decide personally which issues we value more, chosing a candidate is hard work. So I guess what I'm asking is what issues are the most important to you and hence who would you vote for? I'm not about to debate or evaluate whether or not your reasons or good, nor should anyone else since that's not the purpose of this thread. If you don't know where the candidates stand I encourage you to find out... http://www.issues2000.org/default.htm#Candidates ....I look forward to reading any responses
Aloysius
i should stop replying to u as i understand u want other phatmasser opinions and I can talk to you in person ah well, w/e only democrats vote in democratic primaries right? then even if i was old enough i wouldn't be votin for nobody. i'm republican B) (although, i'm not diehard republican. i just lean there as it tends to be more conservative. but in all reality, i strive as i think all Christians should, not to be rep or dem or moderate or 3rd party, but the EXTREME MIDDLE. not the MODERATE, in between wishy washy's, the EXTREME MIDDLE. i heard some priest use that b4, and i thought it was kewl. anyway, maybe there b some dems here who will b voting? remember to vote your conscience! PedroX
I also feel like I don't have a choice. I don't like George Bush, but there is not a single pro-life democrat running. Why is it that all of us pro-life democrats don't run for office? Ah well...if only we had a monarchy. peace...
foundsheep
Can we write the Pope in?
Petrus
If I had to choose among them (I'm a conservative, although only 17) I wouldn't choose Kerry. I have little respect for people who call themselves Catholic but deny it thinking that it doesn't matter. I would rather have someone who stands by what they believe, right or wrong. BLAZEr
I would vote for howard dean cuz I think he's a lunatic and would lose hands down to Bush. Or I would vote for Kucinich, cuz he's a moron and would lose hands down to Bush. Basically I would vote for whoever would lose to Bush, which is pretty much every single Democratic candidate. -I---Love
Aloysius - even if ur a Rep. u can switch to Democrat to vote in the primaries to get the candidate that you want in the final election, and later re-register Rep. Ppl do it all the time. I do; it's a great opportunity!

Norseman82
Can we write the Pope in? Even if he won, he could not be inaugurated since he is not a native-born citizen.
M.SIGGA
I pray Bush loses to some extent, but honestly all the dems kinda smell of elderberries. Dean is a wannabe hippy and Clark should just step down and let Ms. Clinton run instead b/c he is basically shouting her agenda with none of his own. (I'm a registered dem. which means I am already a horrible sinner and this isn't against charity so no one say anything!)
God Conquers
wow. How upset do you think americans (non-catholic) would get if somehow an actual Catholic got into office. Or if the Pope somehow won!!!!!? Man I would LOVE to them FLIP OUT! It's be OLD SCHOOL. Pamphleteering, protests... maybe even REVOLUTION! sweeeeet. PS don't you think its a little immoral to switch parties and then vote for someone in hopes that they lose?
cmotherofpirl
As a Catholic, I cannot vote for ANY of the democrats running for president or anything else. None of them are pro-life. It's against my religion.
