I just read through this entire thread without realizing it was old until I hit this post.  Though I had wondered why so many old posters were back...

Ok, so if you have no ancestors from Africa, and your skin is blacker than "African Americans". Are you black?

 

 

Papua new guineans are, as are the indigenous australians in the north, there all very dark skinned and have no relations to africa, unless it's like millions of years ago. But i get what your saying, i think at times i'm more african american black then australian white growing up with rap and hiphop music. But it's a great point you make as to what do you define as black, all black people or just african americans, are we talking culture like music or philosophy or all of the above. 

 

But honestly i don't know what it means to be white, but i do know what it means to be a christian, and christian isn't only a white thing.
