Anastasia13
each one. I have a black plastic and slightly dark silvery metal one that I got from the Campus Ministry center at my old college. It has a little Knight of Columbus thing where the loop has the part going out to the crucifix. It says KofC on the back. The Crucifix has a round cross with wood-like texturing. benedictaj
I think I have three....no, wait, five. But I only use two of them. My favourite one has pale pink beads, with a GORGEOUS medal of our Lady, and an awesome (kinda chunky) silver crucifix. I save it for special occaisons, lol, when I really need our Ladys help or to thank her! My other one in-use lives under my pillow, and its one of those white chastity ones, with one single red heart bead amidst all the pure white ones. I also have a cheap plasticy one and a huge wooden one from Medjugoire (I can't spell it properly, sorry.) I also have a white one kinda similar to my pink one, except the medal and the crucifix are lots smaller, this one is broken, but I keep it with my in my pocket. lol. There! is that enough detail??? :

I've got one of those too! But then, I'm a knight. (Mine is a little different though). My favorite Rosary is a Benedictine Rosary that my grandparents gave me. It's a little fragile though (it usually falls apart when I'm praying and I have to put it back together to finish! : ). The only I use the most is my KoC Rosary, because it fits in my Little Flower rosary box. </nerd> I should warn you, if you pray the Rosary, you are dispelling the darkness of error from the world, and you are turning on the Lights for a lot of people, maybe yourself! :
Fides_et_Ratio
(erm, this could take a while) I have 3 (or maybe 4) that I made myself with twine, 2 of which I attached St. Medals at each of the large "beads"/knots of my favorite Saints (St. Joseph, St. Cecilia, St. Peter, St. Paul, St. Teresa of Avila, Bl. Mother Teresa, Pope John Paul (the Great), St. Augustine, St. Thomas More, and St. Jude). 3 of them are gold, and the other is maroon. I have them in various places because I wouldn't worry too much about losing them or giving them away (cuz I can always just make another). When I was abroad in Europe I had a habit of collecting Rosaries when I visited various churches because I usually left mine in the hotel/on the bus/hostel. Thus, I have a Rosary from: Mariazell- a medium to small wooden Rosary that says "Mariazell" on the back of the crucifix-- which is a good reminder of that day (we hiked for 8 hours.. it was nuts, but good penance) Medjugorje (2, one was a gift to me)-- the one that was a gift is a big wooden (when I say 'big', I still mean personal size... maybe 6-8 inch diameter) that says "Medjugorje" with a Chi-Ro on the Cross. I bought a big, heavy-ish silver one that has an engraving of Our Lady one side of each bead, and a cross on the other... it's cool to feel/look at while I pray. Assisi (2)-- I bought a really small wooden one that just says "Assisi" on the cross, and then also a normal sized Rosary with all the major churches in Assisi on each of the large beads. Rome -- similar to the one I bought in Assisi with all the churches, it's a wooden bead Rosary with all 5 of the major Basilicas in Rome on it. It's pretty dang cool. I like it a lot. (also because I LOOOVED my time in Roma) Poland--I bought one (with a pouch! what a smart idea, I should just buy a bunch of pouches!) at the former home (now museum of John Paul II), it has JPII on the back of the Marian medal. And then I also still have the very first Rosary that I ever bought... blue crystal with silver. Pretty fancy, but not too much. I like it a lot (it has a lot of sentimental value), but some of the links are a little loose, so I need to fix it. Other than that, I probably have a zillon plastic Rosaries too (I can think of at least 6, I think). Lots of people, conferences give me plastic Rosaries, but I feel bad giving away a plastic one (though I would if it were the only one I could find). I use them sometimes as well if they're the nearest one within reach. OH, and also have a small white chaplet that I bought in Poland at the Divine Mercy Shrine, with the Divine Mercy picture on it. I need to find some people that need Rosaries...
Theoketos
I usually use my Knightly Rosary, as it is very durable. In my truck, I use my Rosary made out of seeds that fall from the tree which grew from the Staff that St. Francis planted when he decided to convert. Then there is the Dead Theologian Society rosaries that the Youth Group uses.

Anastasia13
Another one that I have has slightly shinier metal than the black-beaded one. It has bright, clear, and generally beautiful translucent red beads. The Mary part is a lean upper figure of a woman (Mary) with an oval comming from being her and going accross the area above the head. The cross is a very square cut cross with the ends of each of the four parts sticking up more, but that does not go in far enough to form elevated circles. The top part says "INRI" I believe. I bought that at a drug store because it was pretty.
photosynthesis
I have soooo many rosaries!!! The first rosary I ever recieved was my First Communion rosary. It has a Pope John II crucifix and little white opal beads. It's very beautiful! My grandmother gave me an old clear crystal Rosary. She says that it traevlled with her family when they emigrated to the U.S. from Ireland in the 20's. It's a family heirloom and I hope to have children whom I can give it to someday. I have a red wooden Rosary with a JPII crucifix, and it smells like roses! Instead of having beads for the Our Fathers, it has medals with pictures on them from all these different churches in Rome. It's blessed by Pope John Paul II. I got it when my friend was in RCIA. RCIA always gives out free stuff! I have a wooden Rosary that I got 2 years ago... it has no centerpiece, but there is a corpus on the cross. : It's simple, very humble and falling apart! This is the Rosary I use most of the time. My friend Lydia gave me a new Rosary for my birthday. It looks like my old Rosary, except there is no corpus on the cross. It is pretty, though, and blessed by Pope Benedict XVI. i have so many pretty Rosaries, but usually I end up using the more humble looking ones, like the wooden one or those plastic rosaries they give out at my Baltimore parish. Tink
metal crucifix, copper-y looking. Our Father beads are dark green, the rest are red. Made of gemstone. The medal in the center is of the Holy Family in the stable with the star flying overhead and there's a small red REALLY SHINY gemstone in the center of the star. The last decade only has 8 Hail Marys. I don't know why, I nabbed the rosary from my bro awhile ago. I still use it though!
Piccoli Fiori JMJ
I love old wooden Rosaries... they are so beautiful! Here at school I have about 5-6 Rosaries (Mainly so I have them for the Rosary Group on campus... there is a grey/black plastic one, a red/pink knotted Rosary with a metal crucifix like the one Andrea posted, another platic one with red white and blue beads from a Steubenville conference, A wooden beads on a cord Rosary from Madugorje that I got at the Parish garage sale a year or so ago) I have my Rosary I bought in Assisi that has light brown wood beads and the Our Father beads are the major Churches in Assisi. My favorite Rosary is the one in my car. It is an older black bead Rosary and the Our Father beads have a "rosette" detail carved into them and the medal has the Immaculate Heart on one side and the other has the Sacred Heart. I love it so much! Maybe I'll scan some pictures of my nicer ROsaries... (I have about 3 or 4 more Rosaries at home waiting to be given to someone in need!)
