Guest T-Bone
I remember playing "Duck, Duck, Goose" as a child. I played it all the time. Now, for the life of me, I am unable to remember how it was played. Care to enlighten me?
Jaime
I know a game called duck duck greyduck. But I have no idea how duck, duck, goose would be played. It sounds communist to me. Google duck duck greyduck for the all the rules of this lovely childhood game!

scardella
Duck, duck, goose is the canonical form of the game, to do so would put you in trouble w/ the PT law... and you don't want to get in trouble w/ the PT law.

No kidding. I don't think I ever fully understood the point of Duck Duck Goose. It was a very stressful game, though. You were on edge the entire time, not sure if someone was going to call you "goose" and then you'd have to get up and chase them around the circle. I think if they got back to your spot first, you were it. If you caught them, they were in the middle, but then I don't know who was it again ... Dudette
Duck, duck, goose is a very dangerous game. At one of the camps I helped out in, a girl broke her leg playing it. I'm not kidding!

There was no middle in my duck duck goose. If you caught them, they were still it. If not, you were it. I was really mean when I played this game. I'd go "duck, duck, go..nah duck, duck." I liked having people on edge. My favorite game was kick the bottle. It was one of the best games to play on a sidewalk (no sitting on the ground required). I really don't know where it came from. I hated that game.

Yes. But being in NYC, bottles were far more accesible than cans. People collected the cans for money so we never had any spare ones lying around.
