Grape — Or Black Widow Spider?

Funny about that quote 'a tarantula in a bunch of bananas' because that's exactly what happened to some friends of my parents! :o They kept it in a tank until it died, and the blooming thing lived for years :( and I stopped going round to their house.....

ummm, people are stupid . . .

THE UNFORTUNATE shoppers included a Boylston woman, who found a black widow spider in some red seedless grapes she was feeding to her one-year-old daughter.

Heide Waite didn’t panic. She put the deadly spider into her children’s bug jar and has kept it there since. “I couldn’t come to terms with killing it,” she said on Wednesday.

I wonder if the Black Widow would have come to terms with killing her one year old?

No, no, they fed it once they decided to keep it! :D They kept it as a 'pet' but this was long before it was popular to keep spiders and snakes as pets so it was kind of famous in the local area!

Keeping that sort of thing as a pet is becoming really popular now though. My cousin has lots of snakes and tarantulas, among other pets... :( I don't visit their house now either since I heard tarantulas described on national geographic as 'the houdinis of the spider world'!! :o

As you may have guessed, I don't like spiders.....

I hate spiders too.

I rather send a legion of ants (which I mostly like, but I wouldn't cuddle with them), to kill a spider.

Now see, I have that saying going through my mind:

'If you want to live and thrive, let a spider run alive!'

So I reckon the club should be called 'yo spider, you stick to your turf (the jungle!! :D ) and I'll stick to mine' (everywhere else! :D )

We don't have jungles in the UK :lol: ....

.......although come to think of it, my garden......... :o

Oh no!

Can I be in on the "I Hate Spiders and Wish They Would All Die" club?? I hate spiders so much that I freeze when I see them. I don't move, I don't walk passed them nothing. I scream until someone KILLS it! I think the only one's I don't freak that much over are daddy long legs b/c they stay in their territory and hardley ever move.

But that's gross, I'll definatly think twice before eating bananas and grapes!
