franciscanheart
Why do you shave them if you don't have hairy arms? Shaving will make the hair grow in thicker.
i always thought that was a myth. turns out the hair is more noticeable now when i dont shave them. its kinda a vicious cycle because now im all self-concious about it. Sojourner
That's ridiculous. 4 inch heels! I'd never wear those. Even if I was dating Matt Farnand. Jamie, heels are generally considered to be "high heels" at about 3 inches.
Who is Matt Farnand? I've never heard of him ... And how in the world did this become about shaving arms??? I thought we were talking about hot stuff wearing heels at home. So here's a question (As Abby practices walking in her new heels) Do women get high and sometimes painful shoes for themselves or for guys to notice? avemaria40
it's funny, i actually walk better in heels than in regular shoes. Maybe b/c i feel taller, and i feel pretty, so i feel more confident and it makes me less awkward.

Personally, I wear heels because I feel more confident in them, like avemaria said. My posture is better, I walk better, and heels just make an outfit great in a way that flats can never compare to. I think guys notice the confidence aspect in a girl, whether she's in heels or not. But if these are the only reasons, then why do women have 35 pair in their closet?

You can never be too prepared when it comes to shoes.
Jaime
Oh come on... I've known way too many women that have bought shoes for the same reason that Abby bought them. "They're too cute" then later, they'd find an outfit to match them. You're telling me that you've only bought shoes because they went well with an outfit? You've never bought shoes because they were cute?

Yep on both counts. I have some really short heels that I wear for performances. I once wore a taller pair and I was almost in tears by the end of the night. Never again. And hot stuff, while part of any good shoe-shopping is finding a pair of shoes to go with several outfits, we all know that different shoes are appropriate for different types of outfits. I normally wouldn't wear heels with jeans, but because of the top I'm wearing it was necessary. Tennis shoes just wouldn't have looked right. Even cute tennis shoes. BUT, I did have other things in my closet in mind when I got them. You buy shoes because they're cute, and because you can picture yourself wearing them with stuff you've got in your closet.
