Spiritual_Arsonist
This is the typical carp being spewed by the major media heretics. You even see this on the history channel. Go to the source instead of listening to these weirdos. PS - That church in the story is ugly.
Paladin D
Well at least they mention Mary I suppose... But unfortunately, they complain how "Mary" is one which many don't feel as if they have a relationship to. It's on page 4. I'm telling ya, Protestants may not have a relationship with her... but we do.

Guest Legion
"one thing worshipers might keep in mind is how often these marginalized characters prevail and are entrusted to deliver the Word of God. From Eve to Miriam to Mary, they were all players—and are , in our unfolding spiritual drama." Of all the stuff that made me mad, this at the end was the worst! As far as I know the Catholic Church has never marginalized women. Just look at all the saints! Mary was never thought of just as a character in Jesus' story. We have allways taught that Mary "shall be called Blessed from age to age". St. Therese, St Theresa of Avila, etc..... are all women of great importance to my life. I have prayed to, and with them to help me, to strengthen me, to deepen my faith. OH! and guess what? I'm a MAN, and here I am asking for their help, prayers, and strength! I was born in 62, I have not allways been a practicing Catholic, but I have allways been taught, and believed in the importance of women in the church! Where these women (especially that nun) come off saying that the church has not promoted women is beyond me. Sorry, this more than anything tics me off. I might copy the report and write more about it. Edited December 2, 2003 by Legion
