Lil Red
when i got two of mine pulled, it actually wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. don't build up the fear too much in your mind, allow God to dispel your fear. i'll be saying some prayers for you. Nicole8223
I had 4 pulled, and then found out I was allergic to penicillin and wound up in the hospital with infectinos from the surgery and hives all over my body. If you aren't sure if you are allergic to penicllin, tell them you are anyway!!!!! I was sick for 2 months straight...it was a nightmare. I KNOW your experience will be much better, cause it can't be worse!!!!

A lot of dentists use sodium pentathol -puts you out and you don't feel a thing. That's what I had when mine were pulled. philothea
Prayers! But it very likely will be no big deal at all. Modern dentistry is spiffy. (Unless you're weird like Nicole ) FWIW, I recently read studies that young adults without wisdom teeth were healthier overall than ones who still had them. Made me want to get mine pulled. And I've taken care of them so well all these years...
Sojourner
They give you drugs. You should take them. With some form of food, preferably. It's no fun to puke after you've had had all four wisdom teeth removed. No fun at all.
phatcatholic
you don't HAVE to be put to sleep either (general anesthesia). the local anesthesia coupled with laughing gas works just as well and it is MUCH cheaper. plus, u don't have to worry about coming off the general anesthesia (which some people can have problems with)
