Kilroy the Ninja
We love the cold. But we live in Houston. Houston = NEVER REALLY COLD. We had such a wonderful Spring this year, I've got really high hopes for Autumn. But I say that as I sit in front of an air conditioner which is "ON". *sigh* Hoodies rule! Didacus
Wineter temps here? Range from -30 celcius (-22F) to -40 celcius (-40F). (without wind-chill factor) Do I love winter?..... Heck no! Last year the kids trick-or-treated in a snow storm! It was about -15 celcius outside and it looks like about the same this year so far. GLOBAL WARMING MY REAR END!!!!! Those bleeding hearts environmentalists should spend just one week here in January during the cold winter months and I bet they'll change their minds! Back to you Bob.
sweetpea316
Yeah... the word "cold" has a different definition in Texas. But it feels sooo nice outside now! I love it! :
Sojourner
It was mid-40s when I woke up at 3:30 this morning. Unfortunately I'd left windows open all over the house, so it was freezing ... thankfully I hadn't kicked my socks off while I slept, or my toes might've fallen off. Nicole8223
Philadelphia has really nice seasons....summer is high 80's early 90's, winter is around 30's and 40's, and spring and fall are right in between. I think thats one of the reasons I don't want to move far.
Piccoli Fiori JMJ
I like Fall and Spring the most, and I like when weather gets colder because there is more modest clothing and girls cover more of themselves up!

Sojourner
The Indy Star today ran a very nice Ode to October. I'll admit that there are some things I really, really like about this time of year, even aside from birthdays, and they list lots of them here -- apple cider, fall leaves, football games (especially where Purdue wins), hiking, biking, etc. I'm actually (hopefully) going to be able to go hiking with a friend tomorrow, and I do like that much more in fall than mid-summer. Especially once the leaves start changing ... Southern Indiana is really beautiful then.

ReinnieR
Does anyone else get really excited when you can start wearing fall/winter clothes? I love it! There is nothing like a cold night when you can sit in front of the fire with a blanket and a cup of tea. I think it is one of my favorite things in the world. And hoodies, how cool are hoodies??? They're like the best thing in the whole world when its cold out. There's a place to put your hands if your cold...that little front pouch, and if your ears get cold, well, just throw on the hood! Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas (my birthday!!!)....man, I am so excited it is cold out today.
