I don't like it, at least thematically. It could have been good.
It's funny, because I watched it for the first time while babysitting about a week ago, and I was thinking that someone could use it as an excuse to write a paper on how it went wrong. Right when Danny (is that his name?) was willing to change to become better, Sandi gave up and became worse. The ending is supposed to be a happily ever after kind of ending, and it is comedic since everybody does get get together, but it's a horrible ending. They're not going to stay together, they're not going to be happy, they're not challenging eachother to grow and become better. Sandi gave up on that and decided to desert herself ('Goodbye Sandi D.' or something) to be with Danny. It's the opposite of how it should be. And Danny wan't bad; there was good in him and Sandi had seen that during the summer. But now he's trapped in the 'coolness' he'd chosen.
Anyway, I feel that it's a horrible movie and it's WRONG!

I used to like Grease, but after awhile those songs started to get on my nerves... I definitely am more of a Saturday Night Fever fan

i hate to admit it...but i like this movie. it's definately not a chaste movie...but the songs are fun.

I love to dance to songs from the Grease Soundtrack at weddings and so forth.
It is and was a good movie. I watch it with my girlfriends on occasion.

I have a friend who LOVES this movie.
She got the DVD for her birthday last year and watched it twice a day for several weeks.
I myself am not a huge fan. Don't like the morals, but it's still a pretty cute musical.
