look for thine self, they're arranged very nicely in alphebetical order. you can even make an option for solely pre-1600 or solely post-1600

there are also live recordings available, you just have to know where to look.

but the piano sonatas are good with the midi. maybe a bit too perfect making me feel very very inferior as a pianist :ninja:... but still great to listen to.

you should find a link under the composer you're looking up that says "live recordings only"

sometimes they're split into parts (each of which takes up one of your 5 downloads) but you could get the whole thing in a streaming (unsavable to your computer) media

I've had mozart stuff playin quietly in my headphones... but I just got the most brilliant idea!

everyone around me knows I have this dope keyboard that's really just like a real piano in most ways (all keys, real-feel to the keys, good real sound)

so I should blast this perfect mozart song while my door is locked, and everyone will think I'm playin it! they've heard me play the ONE complete beethoven sonata that I'm really good at so they'd believe it too! :D:

hmm... maybe that's dishonest and prideful? :ninja:

for your vivaldi:

click "Play All" for the full song there, they're live recordings of actual musicians so you won't get that synthesized feel.

[quote name='theculturewarrior' date='Sep 28 2005, 04:26 PM']. Isn't that where it sounds like it was made on a Commodore 64?

Rhapsody has an excellent collection of classical music, and has more early music than any service I have used, including the Classical Archives, it seems. However it costs ten dollars a month. :) WELL worth it!
