"Daytime" medicine

Prenatal tests also give false positives more than a handful of times. My brother, I believe, had some abnormal stuff in his test, but he turned out (relatively) normal. haha, you gotta love younger brothers! :P: I wonder how many babies are aborted each year due to these tests, and how many of those children have false positives. :sadder:

I completely agree! In psychology we were taught all of this stuff Freud said...like what things in dreams meant, but we were never given a reason why it would mean that other than that Freud said it meant that...kind of circular reasoning if you ask me.

The only cold medicine I've ever used that doesn't make me sleepy is Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold Medicine. It comes in a box with two tablets to a package. Hope it works for you.

I took plenty of classes on Freud and while some of his ideas may have had some merit and inspired some of the later developments in psych, well, most of his views are just wacky.

Especially his views on women.

I took some daytime Sudafed a few weeks ago. I feel asleep on a three ring binder (not a good idea). After that I only took it when I first got up BEFORE my shower and about half an hour before bed time.
In some states the test is required. I guess just chalk it up to loopy lawmakers.

hehe... when I read it, I thought it said loopy... so I said loopy... then after mine posted, I realized it said poopy and I thought, "hmmm... should I bother to change it?" Then I realized that I was too tired and too easily distracted... so I didn't... stupid cold medicine... :hehehe:

I agree. They need a "sarcastic" smilie. I thought the  would get my point across.
