I can't think of any homosexuals who condone pedophilia.... Do you condone heterosexual pedophilia? I mean, as long as one is male & one is female, that makes it right....is this the logic you're following?

Th idea expressed here is that once one kind of sexual deviancy becomes accepted and even protected by society, who can say that other forms of deviancy will not be accepted next.

Once we accept moral relativism, it's a slippery slope. We have no solid basis for calling anything right or wrong.

This makes me sick to my stomach and really, really sad. Whenever I hear about children being sexually abused, I can see in my mind's eye my nieces (one is 8 and one is 2) being sexually assaulted. My nieces are really just the most precious things and it rips me apart to think about this kind of thing happening. That poor child! Imagine his confusion and fear...

On another note...I can't imagine why that priest would be so uncomfortable. I guess a lot of people are ignorant about depression...one of my close friends was manic depressive, but it wasn't like something was seriously "wrong" with her. Maybe it's because I battled with depression for a while too, but I don't see why that would make someone uncomfortable. Just because someone's mentally ill doesn't make them dangerous or something...maybe to themselves, but it's not like all mental illnesses are threatening to the public.

what is this dude............stop picking at me...........what the heck is your problem. The bible says pedophilia is wrong as well as homosexuality. They are both wrong. Its obvious that homosexuals dont really hold the bible in high regards.......thats all i was saying.

No, I'm pretty sure he was saying that homosexuals are all-arround immoral people, and that since they don't mind sodomy, they probably wouldn't mind child molestation, either. Kind of an "in your face, evil-do-ers!" statement, in my mind....and it appears I was right...

He pretty much feels that homosexuals are likely to be immoral down to their little homosexual toes, and that pedophilia is equatable with homosexuality.

However, I do agree with you, Socrates (does anyone else read that with the Bill & Ted pronunciation? lol) that typically, once one type of ''sexually deviant' behavior is generally accepted by society, it's likely that others will be as well.
