Ianny01
Hey, I have been reading some documents by deists mainly due to my religious studies class on the plurality of American religions. They keep toting the "Unholy Origins" of the Bible (i.e. that the Constantine was a pagan emperor who used the Council of Nicea to unite the empire for financial reasons and that the only authority behind Scripture is the vote of men at the Council of Nicea). Added to that, since they believe that the Designer is seen only in the Design, they discredit scripture and they view the study of theology as the study of nothing. They claim facts and reason behind their arguments. I know they're wrong but they seem so entrenched in their belief. How would I answer a deist? Noel's angel
well, it really depends on what you are discussing. Always try and find as many varied sources as possible, because they can't keep dismissing every piece of evidence you have.
