Hurricane in Minnesota?

Well not really but the winds were that strong.

I just said to someone yesterday, I'm glad we don't get hurricanes here.

It hit last night at about 7:30. Must have been about 80 mph or so winds. Trees down all over. I lost one in my front yard. There's a nice new dodge viper with one laying accross it's front hood and through the window around the corner. Power just came back on. This was the worst storm I've been through. A tornadoe took some roofs off of houses about 5 miles north of here.

Blessings

There was a few tornadoes but right here it's too wide a path. It goes for at least 5 miles. Just high wind.

No joke!!!

My friend Tim called me at 8:00 this morning to tell me about his neighborhood!!!

He said trees are down every where, no electricity, and etc...

I heard 100 m.p.h. winds stormed through the area.

I was working during the time the storm hit...as I was driving my car almost rolled over...

Fortunately, we didn't have any damaging weather...just a last thunderstorm of the summer.

My mom says her yard looks like a war zone. Down here we got nothing... a little heat lightening... It didn't even rain until the middle of the night..

I was kinda ticked to come home from a meeting to discover that I'd taped an hour or so of "high tech" whether information... :annoyed:

:( Prayers for you and all in the area who are either traveling or staying put. There is a big group of students from University of Houston that are coming to stay here at our campus. The department I work for is getting everything ready for when they arrive today hopefully.
