Laudate_Dominum
The part about a program that cycles the background is nothing. That's not the point. The point is having images and info on saints and popes. That's what is distinct about it. I am sure many programs exist, but its easy enough to write one and I'd rather have total control over the way the thing works and be able to distribute it as a single package. hierochloe
I've seen programs that generate small graphics containing summaries of stats generated every 5 minutes or so for computer gamers in certain games. Gamers will use them as sig images (*don't ask). Would be neat to have dynamic content this way on the pc desktop (dynamic screensaver, quote of the day, etc). Should be pretty easily dev'd. Dreamweaver
I think its a great idea! Maybe there could be a section with a "important feast days this week" deal as a reminder.

In fact it won't take anything more than basic GDI programming. It will make it a smaller download too because there won't be any redundant graphics, it will be template driven. This will give access not only to configuration options, but to readings of the day, calendar related stuff, and of course a menu item that will launch phatmass.com. What say ye dUSt?
