ok - but please consider this - Cindy Sheehan earlier held a ralley and defended Lynne Stewart, who represented the mastermind of the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993 and was convicted earlier this year of providing material support for terrorism when she acted as a conduit for terrorist instructions from her client Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman...
honestly --- the left is wrong

I was about to say "the left is right" but that would be an oxymoron, or some other gramatical anomally. :P: Anyway, I have not heard about the info you just shared, could you provide some type of article or source for your accusation.
James Taranto, editor of OpinionJournal.com, this week unearthed comments Sheehan made at an anti-war rally at San Francisco State University in April: "I'm going all over the country telling moms: 'This country is not worth dying for.' If we're attacked, we would all go out. We'd all take whatever we had. I'd take my rolling pin and I'd beat the attackers over the head with it. But we were not attacked by Iraq. We might not even have been attacked by Osama bin Laden if 9/11 was their Pearl Harbor to get their neo-con agenda through . . ."

Sheehan said she considered Lynne Stewart her Atticus Finch, the lawyer who defended an innocent Black man accused of rape in the book and film “To Kill A Mockingbird.”
“They’re not waging a War on Terror but a War of Terror,” she said. “The biggest terrorist is George W. Bush.”
Sheehan continued, “9/11 was Pearl Harbor for the neo-conservatives’ agenda” and declared the U.S. government a “morally repugnant system.” Then she raged:
We have no Constitution. We’re the only country with no checks and balances. We want our country back if we have to impeach George Bush down to the person who picks up the dog sh-t in Washington! Let George Bush send his two little party animals to die in Iraq. It’s OK for Israel to have nuclear weapons but we are waging nuclear war in Iraq, we have contaminated the entire country. It’s not OK for Syria to be in Lebanon. Hypocrites! But Israel can occupy Palestine? Stop the slaughter!

While one might dismiss some of Sheehan’s hyperbole due to grief over her son’s death, a little research about Casey Sheehan revealed that contrary to being tricked by military recruiters, Casey Sheehan had re-enlisted in the U.S. Army voluntarily when he was 24-years-old, after serving his first hitch successfully. Casey Sheehan was in fact a hero who received a Bronze Star.
is she in line with extreme liberals?
The website MoveOn.org announced on August 10, 2005 that it was gathering comments via email to place in a two-page newspaper spread in a Sunday edition of the Waco Tribune newspaper in support of Sheehan and her efforts. MoveOn gathered more than 250,000 comments, many of which were included in the advertisement.[41] Tom Matzzie of MoveOn said:
"In her grief and bravery, Cindy has become a symbol for millions of Americans who demand better answers about the Iraq war. Though right-wing pundits have attacked her personally, her honesty is unimpeachable. Now more and more mothers (and fathers, brothers, sisters, wives, husbands, sons and daughters) are standing up with Cindy. Please join us, and together, we'll make sure that President Bush can't escape the reality of this war—even in Crawford, Texas."
Bam

is Cindy too extreme for even the the most liberal thinkers? YES
Finally, I think one must deny to anyone the right to ventriloquize the dead. Casey Sheehan joined up as a responsible adult volunteer. Are we so sure that he would have wanted to see his mother acquiring "a knack for P.R." and announcing that he was killed in a war for a Jewish cabal? (a claim that has brought David Duke flying to Ms. Sheehan's side BAM.) This is just as objectionable, on logical as well as moral grounds, as the old pro-war argument that the dead "must not have died in vain." I distrust anyone who claims to speak for the fallen, and I distrust even more the hysterical noncombatants who exploit the grief of those who have to bury them.

If George Bush truly listened to God and read the words of the Christ  ...  the devastation in New Orleans would have never happened.
Because if GW read the Bible more hurricanes wouldn't happen?

Sorry, but she IS making a fool out of herself. Fine, protest war, she's entitled to that opinion, but please, write a better speech.

if he was a true Christian he would have struck his staff on a stone and held back the waters from New Orleans by parting the gulf

If I were her son I'd be coming out of my grave. The last thing I want my mom to think about me is that I lived and died for a cause that was not worthy. Especialy if I thought it was a worthy cause. (Even if Casey did not think the war in Iraq was a good cause -which I don't know if he did or not -he still thought freedom and America were good causes) I definitely wouldn't want her going around saying that my life and death were wasted. That I died for nothing.

No, but GWB ordered Karl Rove to use the Hurricane Making Machine (HMM) that Johnsonville brat Cheney built with extra money at Halliburton to attack the black people in New Orleans. Hmm...

lets forget about whether the iraq war was just or not. We now have to worry about progression in iraq. If we were to pull out now im sure the extreme muslims would be black mailing the iraqi government.

i definatly think we should pull the troops out of iraq. why? because i really want to see the authority leave the country, have the insurgency take control. that would be awesome. itll be great, because then we can have Iraq back the was.
