Prolly not, but I do what I can, and God provides. Besides, I don't make a habit of it.

God Bless
Shouldn't the title of this thread be "Guess who I met this time!"

Actually, no. I made a grammatical error in the last one. It should be "whom". Whom is the object of "met."

When my mom uses the wrong name and we say "She/he isn't here" she says "You do it then."

Yeah, I've often wondered what my parents or the bride's parents would be thinking after we left the reception. I've got to admit, that's gotta be a weird feeling knowing what you're kids are doing, that it's a life-changing experience, that it's something beautiful and yet something so commonly seen as disgusting, and that it's perfectly legit, wonderful, etc.

My mom and dad will be smirking the whole way home.

Its not so much your parents as it is your siblings, cousins, and friends. I've got a couple stories about things like that. Like Matt was best man for one of his friends. After the reception was over the groomsmen and some friends and stuff went out to a restaraunt, and one of them started saying "I wonder what THEY are doing right NOW." Matt said "I can tell you what they're doing, they are trying to figure out what it is they are supposed ot be doing!" Not 5 minutes later the couple came in the restaraunt (and they tried hiding behind a newspaper). lol Matt says he never wanted to be more wrong than at that moment.
