Figuring Out Postage...

I'm trying to send a letter that has 10 pages and 7 photos in it... about how much would I have to pay for postage you think?

I know when I was doing a correspondance course in HS they had a rough estimate for postage based on how many sheets of paper you were sending...

Any help? The USPS website didn't help much because I do not know the weight of the envelope!

I don't think it will be much over $1, but I think I will have to take it to the post office... I don't want Mother Mary Regina having to pay for the rest of the postage is there wasn't enough!

I'm either going to the post office or asking the people down in the mail room on campus tomorrow... that way it gets sent out lickety split!

Do you have a scale that measures ounces? A kitchen scale helps. Otherwise, a sheet of paper and 4" x 6" photograph weighs about 1/2 ounce each.
