not sure about how many, but we have a Mass at 9 oclock at night on sundays, it is said to be the latest in western europe, how true that is I dont know.

2 each week. For two reasons:

1) We have a temporary traveling priest, who drives 3 hours to our parish (and another one) every weekend.

2) We're a lake country (rural) community, not as many people. Though with our previous residental (and temporary) priest, we had 4 masses per week.

[quote name='Wynd' date='Sep 5 2005, 04:18 PM']Monday through Friday: 12pm and 5pm
Sunday: 11am, 5pm, 9pm

Best part? It's the (very orthodox) Newman Center at my school.
Worst part? I'm in charge of finding altar servers, EMHCs, lectors, etc.,  for all those Masses

My parish has:

Daily mass at 7:30 am, 12:15 pm, and 5:15 pm every weekday and at 12:15 pm on Saturday.

Weekend mass at 5:15 pm on Saturday and at 8:30 am, 10:00 am, 12:15 pm, 5:00 pm, and 8:00 pm on Sunday.

3x5 + 1 + 1 + 5 = 22 masses each week

We also have confession on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, although Tuesday and Thursday confession are after mass (I wish they would switch it to before mass).

Here, let me count...
Well, there is the Sat. Vigil Mass, and 3 Sunday Masses, A sat Vigil in Polish and one on Sunday, 10 Masses during the week (2 a day) and then one on Tuesdays for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Novena, so let's see here...

17 total... :) Looks pretty good...

My home parish has two masses per week. An 8 AM on Wednesdays and an 8 AM on Sundays. Our parish is very small, but on the days without a daily mass (Saturday exception) there is always a Eucharistic Service.

God bless-

Two priests. There is one that barely speaks English and another that barely speaks Spanish. I talk to the latter more often.

It is really insane.

30 masses per week! 10 of which are in Spanish (one per weekday and then 5 on Sundays). 4 priests, perpetual adoration, confessions during almost every mass and for about 4 hours on Saturdays...go St. Peter Chanel! Good things DO come from the LA Archdiocese!

I actually usually only go to this church for their (many) daily masses, but I'm considering switching over to here permanently. There's just this holy atmosphere about the place that's unlike any other church I've ever known. There is NO talking in the church aside from a few whispers when it's not mass (this is how it should be, but it's sadly very unusual in my area) and it's generally just very reverent. The priests are also very good, and you can see their love of the Eucharist when they hold up the host during mass and then genuflect--at my home parish it's like one quick fluid motion but here you can see the reverence and now I feel somewhat cheated when I don't get that moment to pause and ponder the Pascal mystery.

yay SPC! :D
