I voted 12, but I expect the number to go up.

Currently, we have Mon. - Sat. morning (so that's six), Tuesday evening (7), Sat. pm vigil (8), and four on Sunday.

I think they are going to add another evening one either Wed. or Thurs.

Well... at present, two, maybe.

There used to be one Saturday night mass, one Sunday morning mass, and two or three during the week, but our long-past-retirement priest is having heart trouble so we're down to the two weekend masses.

Honestly, I don't know if those are still being celebrated. I haven't gone there in a while.

(I appreciate our pastor's concern that the church will be closed if he retires, but actually it WON'T, our diocese has enough vocations, and even if it was closed, the next church is only 3 miles away. I'd really rather have a priest in good health rather than messed-up high-speed masses where I'm constantly afraid the poor guy is going to faint.)

My old church was one of the original California Missions. So they have a Mission Church, and a chapel (which is probably the largest chapel in the archdiocese of LA). And they have people coming from all over just for mass. Most masses are more than 3/4 full. And there is masses in english, spanish, and vietnamese. And just about each mass is unique. There is an english life teen mass, as well as a spanish youth mass. But somehow the most beautiful liturgy is the one in vietnamese. They have such a lovely chior, and they regularly chant the mass parts in vietnamese. It has a nice unique style, but evokes reverence while being culturally significant.

Monday through Friday: 12pm and 5pm
Sunday: 11am, 5pm, 9pm

Best part? It's the (very orthodox) Newman Center at my school.
Worst part? I'm in charge of finding altar servers, EMHCs, lectors, etc., for all those Masses
