Confession

Hello, I am currently on a journey to become Catholic. I plan to convert when I become 18 because my parents will not allow it until then. With that said, i have spoken to the local Preist and he said that although I am not yet Catholic, but I am a "Catholic in the making" then i can confess. I have never done this. I was wondering if you could explain what i need to do to prepar myself for my first confession. I also would like to know what happens in confession. I know what confession is for and the whole reason and meaning of confession, however I do not know the actual process and words that are said during confession. Basically, i need to know what happens in the confessional.
