O.K. I spent All morning going through tons (litterally) of college papers that have been sent to me and could not find one thing from them.
And then the mail came. (weird)

St. Mary of the Woods is " The nation's oldest Catholic Liberal arts college for women."

O.k. I don't have anything on the Grad school.

What does anyone know about

Bellmont Abbey College in North Carolina?

Oh and I always forget to ask about

Southern Catholic in Georgia?
I can't get much info from them.

I think I'm supposed to go to a Benedictine school because three out the four that I really like are Benedictine. The Ora et Labora part does fit me come to think of it. The other one is Ave Maria but I really want to go somewhere with more than one temperature.

  • 5 weeks later...

I'm supposed to be going to FUS in the fall but I'm starting to reconsider, based on things I've heard about administration through here. Is that a good idea? Where else should I think of? I'm majoring in theology but I'm thinking about a degree in music as well. I've heard a lot about Benedictine, but I don't know...

Long time no post

Hey guys.. I was reading through the posts and thought I might say a few words.. Right now I live at Theological College and study at the Catholic Univeristy of America. Firstly, I can attest that the philosophy program is the best in the united states. I'm sure some will argue, but many leading Thomistic and Medieval Philosphy scholars are here. If you want to study philosophy this is the place to be.

As for the Theology. The undergrad program is not spectacular, but it is orthodox to the church's teaching (of course I have only taken 1 class :P ) On the other hand, the grad school, as from what i have heard from the Theology seminary students, is supposedly very good. Many good professors, and they tell me no wacky theology. Of course this is only what I have heard, if you want to know more maybe read something by the Theology Chair, Msgr. Kevin Eriwn. God bless!

Pax Christi!

Tony
