christusrexnoster
I'd investigate hard if I really was serious about Catholic University. I know in the past they were a bit liberal. I hear they are comming arround but I'm not sure where they are at currently.
Cam42
I beleive that St. Thomas in St. Paul MN is pretty good, and it's just plain pretty. God bless- LGLG
Ahhh.....my alma mater. The Catholic Studies Program is one of the best and the oldest in the country. Acutally, it is the first of it's kind. It is the model for all others. And I am one of the first graduates of this program, along with Thumper. I strongly suggest this school. While parts of it are very liberal, the CCS is not. It is the first program to fully institute Ex Corde Ecclesiae in the country. Strongly suggested..... zunshynn
St. Gregory's University in Oklahoma seems pretty good to me... They actually have pictures of priests and habited nuns. And they offer theology, not just philosophy.

Maria
T.A.C. is wonderful, but it's all liberal arts, so afterwards you'd have to go somewhere else.
Snarf
Notre Dame turned me down because I'm from Indiana (and had bad grades), Boston College accepted me because I'm from Indiana. I'm guessing that those two haven't been mentioned because they're brooding grounds for liberalilsm and hedonism. So what? It opens your mind, and temptation only makes you stronger. Furthermore, they'll land a much higher salary than any other Catholic school. SETH, RADIX MALORUM CUPIDITAS EST!!! I know, I know. But you could use the extra digits in your income to give to charity and spread the word.
Theoketos
Really, Benedictine College is still your best choice: Orthodox Theology Program. Flourishing intellectual enviroment. And dynamic faith life.
Catholictothecore
Best Catholic college in close proximity is Benedictine College. Their new president actually mentioned "Ex Corde Ecclesiae" in his inaugural speech. I go to Boston College, and sadly I must agree that there is a lot of dissent, liberalism, and bad theology present here. However, there is a sizeable minority of orthodox, devout Catholics as well. We meet every week for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Confession, and the Rosary, with dinner and a theological discussion afterwards. Last night there was an awesome lecture with Father Norris Clarke and Peter Kreeft on mankind as frontier being and microcosm. Tomorrow, we're going to be holding a prayer vigil in front of an abortion clinic nearby. Anyhow...we're not all cafeteria Catholics here at BC. MissScripture
OH forgot to mention a little fact: I want to double major in Elementary AND Early Childhood Education.
If you want to go for education, then I'd suggest somewhere in Minnesota, merely because if you went to school for education in MN you're more likely to get hired pretty much anywhere...I've heard that from several teachers/ teaching majors.
