Syphoning gas by sucking it up is dangerous and illegal.

I don't understand... My province PRODUCES oil. That is our backbone. how can it be so expensive???

Because international accords force oil producing nations to expert oil in quantities that they have done so in the past. Thus, if Canada exported x barrels of oil for 20 years to the US, they must continue to do so. failure to do so when they are able to do so can be construed as an act of war. Thus, even though Canada produces and exports oil, it remains expensive due to the fact that much of the oil produced must be exported and cannot be kept inside the nation.

Here in Minnesota, different gas stations are trying to compete. The gas station near my house is now 2.79. In other areas, 2.69 or ONE kind of close to me was 3.69!!! I nearly fainted. However, my brother works at a gas station so I get a discount on gas. Yippy! :D: :)
