Ianny01
Simple question but I haven't reached a simple answer. What qualifies something as the sin of gluttony? Is it on an individual basis or on the individual person or is there some sweeping statement than can be used to identify it? Sincerely confused, Ianny01
phatcatholic
The 1910 New Catholic Dictionary defines gluttony as:[list]The inordinate indulgence in food or drink, when through appetite one anticipates frequently the proper time for taking refreshment, or partakes in excess, or demands food more costly than one can afford, or devours it voraciously, or spends too great care in the preparation of it.
