Believe it or not, my family (well, my dad really) had AOL all the way when it was still in one of it's beta versions. And then we were members all the way up until last year (my dad HATED AOL, but we had a big discount and some other stuff), so when my dad cancelled it, they called and sent us letters almost everyday practically begging us to come back, it was insane. My dad had to tell about 50 people that there was no way we wanted "their pathetic attempt at internet service"... it was nuts.
