How can I pray correctly?

I find my prayers being rather long and pretty much just asking "Please bless them and and him, and please do this for him, and that for her, and please bless with me with this, and please keep them safe." How do I pray for everyone and everything with meaning?

I would say the best way would be to attain an interior state of prayer, marked by a spirit of humility, thanksgiving and adoration, in which you are immersed in God's Presence and your heart beats with the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. In this state your intentions and loved ones are assumed into the flame of Christ's love, in and through Our Lady, and your petitions are made manifest without words.
