I have a question, is your Political Sciecne and Legal Studeis department good or bad?

I think I"m going to college for political Science and Legal Studies so just checkin' it out.

Your Bro. in Christ,

Eddie Lee

Well, when I went there the pre-law program was new... it was not fabulous but it wasn't bad either. I pretty sure they hired a couple new people, so the program is probably stonger now.

I dunno about the Law program...

There are a LOT of education majors (esp. early childhood education). But I dunno if that makes it good or not... lol, I was pretty stuck in my major(s).

I didn't particularly care for the poli sci professor. Definitely not my most favorite. I don't know anything about legal studies. Sometimes Scarnecchia teaches those classes, and he's really funny.

If you want to do poli sci, then look into HCC (Humanities and Catholic Culture). It's a lot of poli sci, but not too much, and enough philosophy that if you wanted to be a seminarian without being a pre-the, you might be able to start in theology at major seminary without doing a pretheology year.

Don't do it since you're a girl and seriously discerning! I did it, and while I loved every minute and don't regret doing it, I would advise any girl who is seriously discerning to avoid it unless you have a sponsor or your parents are willing to cover the costs. They don't give too much in the way of scholarships. Eddie has more of a chance if he does the pre-theologate program.

How is the education program? Anyone know?  :idontknow:

I've known a good number of education majors and I've heard good things about the program. I don't know first hand though.
