Really now? My parish in Lincoln had Confession everyday, and it was almost always too short to hear every Confession. This being in an obviously post-Conciliar parish. They trivialize sins no less than St. Alphonsus de Liguori did. Read his writings and I bet you'd consider them very "liberal" on Confession.

How about we blame the abuses, not the Council?
