I'm really enjoying it. It's given me lots of ideas for my prayer time! And it's actually very opportune that I'm reading it now.....just what I've needed to hear. It's kind of reinforcing things that I've been thinking about for awhile now. It's amazing....I read 2 paragraphs and have to put it down to think about what I've just read because it's like that's what God's telling me.

I've found a new friend in St. Catherine! :)

That sounds a lot like my experience with that text. I really felt Catherine's presence somehow.. This might sound nuts, but I started wearing a Catherine medal back then and it turned gold. I don't know if it was real gold, but it looked totally real and it happened suddenly (just noticed it one day). I thought it was really neat.

Nope. Doesn't sound nuts!!! I've had a medal do that before too. Not St. Catherine though. It's only been two weeks since I read a biography on her and then picked up her "Dialogue." She was one awesome lady!! (Still is too!!!!)

I'm reading Salt of the Earth - it's almost conversational in style - I have had to go back and re-read parts of it . . . so it may be more on the deeper end
