Paladin D
Cops are cool, but since I'm a teenager, they would probally think my "thank you" is a sarcasm.

littleflower+JMJ
yay for policemen, firemen and all emergency workers, and for all service men and women! they all help us, many times at the risk of their safety. God bless them for what they do!!

RC_
Cops are cool, but since I'm a teenager, they would probally think my "thank you" is a sarcasm.
Just the other day, I was at Blimpie, getting a sandwich. I wanted bacon on it. (Now, I want to point out that I'm hearing imparied, and sometimes have trouble regulating the volume of my voice.) So when I order bacon, I I'm rather loud (about a 1/3 of the way between normal conversation and shouting) but don't realize it. My friends are all glaring at me, and making hand motions "to keep it down". Then I realized that there were a bunch of cops having a lunch break in the restaraunt. ForHimAlone
I just sang the National Anthem the other day when our Governor came to officially open the new highway. There are two brigdes, and they are both dedicated to police officers, EMTs, firefighters, and citizen soldiers. It was pretty neat.
p-hawk
I have a federal marshal aunt and a city cop uncle. For some reason, I never got the cop genes.
Brother Adam
I know too many curropt police officers and I know most use immoral means to get their jobs done and put people (sometimes that they know are innocent) into jail. So I'm jaded. But I know there are really good police officers too and sincerely appreciate their work and sacrifice.
homeschoolmom
In our old neighborhood, we had a police officer who had a K9 officer living with him... When we moved here, we discovered that this neighborhood also had a K9 officer... It's always good to have a squad car parked in the neighborhood. Sojourner
My feelings on cops are pretty ambiguous. I've known some really stand-up folks who were cops, and I've also known some who were real jerks. With that said, it does make me feel safer to see a cop car cruising through my neighborhood. homeschoolmom
Well, I don't really know any cops... other than the one who took my statement when I was a witness to an accident...

One cop who I considered a friend called me a B___ behind my back. The person he told, told me. And what was stupid is he had to have known I would find out. The person he told and I are friends and he knew this when he said it. DUMB AS DISHWATER AND TWICE AS UGLY. (my grandmother's saying). Just for info guys... August of 2003 I "spiritually adopted" all people involved in Law Enforcement. I stop and pray for them twice a day, which is how my county runs its shifts. They run in 12 hours shifts. The reason I am letting you know this is that I would like you to do the same. Pray any way you want using any form you want. That is between you and God. I have my own method. I know the decent ones out there appreciate it. And the other ones, well they need it too. Especially them. Winchester
I know a lot of cops, I like cops. Sometimes, I go down to the local storefront, sit on a bench with a bag of donuts and feed them. Some are so tame, they'll eat right out of my hand.
