Last year at about this time, I gave up my parking garage pass downtown and started biking to work, which I estimate saves me roughly $100 a month in parking and gas costs. That number is only going up now ... If Indy had a slightly better public transportation system I'd give up my car altogether. It's much more of a hassle than it's worth, in my opinion.
