The Catholic Church was the Church Christ built on Peter.
If Christ did not intend to found an organized Church, what was the point of His words to Peter?

The problem is that "Catholic" isn't a english word. In english it means, "universal"

In the early Church, there was one Chruch. One can trace a direct line from Pope Benedict XVI back to Peter.
