Laudate_Dominum
Although, one can be said to be a virgin at heart, and this is a very real thing, not just a nice concept. I can think of Saints whom Christ called virgins even though their physical integrity may have been lost. And I am reminded of a letter that St. Augustine wrote to a consecrated virgin who was raped. He assured her that she was still a virgin. God can restore a virginal heart and purity and innocence to a person who may have lost these in the past. Also, there are plenty of people who are technically virgins, but have done everything else and don't have a virginal heart or purity. The interior aspect is what is truly important. But when and if this grace is given is not something that can be known. If it is a deep desire of your heart because you want to be pleasing to God, stay faithful to Him and He will answer your prayer when the time is right. God bless.
