Cam42
FANTASTIC!!!! I am glad to know another vocalist....I love singing Gregorian Chant.....Marty Haugan's versions not so much. You and hot stuff should start a guitar band and sing Gregorian Chant....j/k.....
homeschoolmom
Oh, I can't sing well.... In fact, we are never singing in a good key for me (poor alto... ), but I don't mind screetching in front of children... it usually causes them to sing louder... Oik
the Kyrie (which is Greek), The Sanctus, The Credo, the Pater Noster, and the Agnus Dei. Then the Ave Maria and Slave Regina. Then, the rosary in Latin. And then Latin 101, etc...
homeschoolmom
So basically I should teach the parts of the rosary and if there's time teach the parts of the mass OR Teach the parts of the mass and if there's time teach the parts of the rosary. Fides_et_Ratio
Or, just keep all your kids past the scheduled time to do it all! (lol, kidding... kidding) It truly sounds like a good idea, when I set down that I wanted to make sure I taught them the "basic" Catholic prayers I can't believe I didn't think to include Latin! Colleen
Don't forget the Sign of the Cross. That's a short and easy one. In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.
