Okay. with the KJV version of the Bible and most Protestant Bibles only have these two books, which catagorize in the Books of Wisdom, in some Bible Studies/Devotions.

Now I am aware of a Book in the Catholic Bible that was not included with the other books of the Bible.

This particular book I'm speaking of its actually the Title Book of Wisdom in the Bible.

Can anyone post to me some popluar verses from this book? If ya can that is. Also I'd like to know how many chapters are in this book.

Thank You.

10:12
She (Wisdom) preserved him from foes, and secured him against ambush, And she gave him the prize for his stern struggle that he might know that devotion to God is mightier than all else.

11:26
But you spare all things, because they are yours, O LORD and lover of souls, for your imperishable spirit is in all things!

15:1
But you, our God, are good and true, slow to anger, and governing all with mercy.

also, if you go here you'll find alot of verses from the Book of Wisdom that parallel verses in the NT. this would lend some support for the book's inclusion in the canon.

Cure of Ars

This is the longest prophesies of Jesus in the Bible. Every time I read it I'm in awe. It's like it should come after Jesus but it was written 100 years before him.
He professes to have knowledge of God and styles himself a child of the LORD. To us he is the censure of our thoughts; merely to see him is a hardship for us, Because his life is not like other men's, and different are his ways. He judges us debased; he holds aloof from our paths as from things impure. He calls blest the destiny of the just and boasts that God is his Father. Let us see whether his words be true; let us find out what will happen to him. For if the just one be the son of God, he will defend him and deliver him from the hand of his foes. With revilement and torture let us put him to the test that we may have proof of his gentleness and try his patience. Let us condemn him to a shameful death; for according to his own words, God will take care of him." These were their thoughts, but they erred; for their wickedness blinded them, And they knew not the hidden counsels of God; neither did they count on a recompense of holiness nor discern the innocent souls' reward. (Wisdom 2:13-22)
