I agree that we should not be screaming "the sky is falling" because wnd says so. Nor am I saying we should all be running around in fear. But logic says that the #1 thing the terrorists would like to do is set off a nuke in the US. If they can they will. Not saying they can. Just:

a) Keep your soul free from mortal sin
b) Pray that it doesn't happen.
c) Pray "thy will be done" however.
d) In the words of a late great pope taken from scripture "be not afraid".

[quote name='Nathan' date='Aug 2 2005, 07:14 PM']I'm sorry, but this is fear-mongering. Nowhere in the mainstream news media (CNN, FOX, MSNBC, etc) am I finding anything about this "imminent nuclear threat." If there were anything to this, believe me, there would be coverage.

And no, World Net Daily is not a credible news source.

First off, I said that I am not trying to spread fear nor am I trying to be pessimistic. Rather, I was merely indicating a threat that many others feel we can be subjected to, and therefore, was encouraging prayers not fear.

Second, just because CNN, Foxnews, etc. do not have any indications does not mean that it is not something that could be in the works, as it were. Did CNN or Foxnews have any indication of Sept. 11th, the London bombings, etc.? Sometimes, and this is personal opinion, I find the free presses and independent journalists more reliable than the mainstream news. Granted, that is sometimes, but sometimes is better than no time at all.

God Bless
