Brother Adam
I got my eyeglasses from Wal-Mart now that I have no insurance and they were still way too expensive cause I have really bad eyesight. It cost $325 mainly due to the lenses. I have to buy the ultra thin lenses or I look like I'm wearing hockey pucks

Mine are literally coke bottle glasses and I can't get them any thinner.

Brother Adam
wow. if it wasn't for the astigmatism you coulda gotten a pair from the local grocery store for $5. I believe mine is like a -8.5 or something. i just know it is really really bad. I can't read the alarm clock unless I'm two inches away from it. IcePrincessKRS
I bet you look really sharp with your glasses, Raph. I totally need to get a new pair, but I'm kind of waiting until it gets desperate... or until my last pair of contacts get thrown away. Then I can get the 'scrip for both at the same time and get one first, and then wait a couple months and get the other. Adrienne keeps mangling the arms on my glasses, though, so I know that crucial time is coming. lol
StColette
I'm beginning to see a pattern here rofl all regular PMers wear glasses. lol Maybe we spend way too much time on the internet rofl *thinks about spending less time online* lol
IcePrincessKRS
I got mine when I was 16, so I know phatmass has nothing to do with it. lol
Old_Joe
I always try to save my parents some money, but they pretty much insisted that I get a pair with magnetic sunglass attachments, so the glasses cost $219...and insurance only covered $120...
Those are awesome. My sister had a pair of those. If you balance the sunglasses on your nose just right, you'd look like Morpheus from the Matrix.
