Math book completed in June? Math is done. So, we sort of finish one subject at a time. By mid June, we are on vacation. I like to start early so that we can take "opportunity vacations." If we suddenly get a really nice day in March-- no school today, go out and play. Grandpa and Grandma are coming through town? No school. etc. Besides, my kids are really excited to start today.
