annie
tough call---what to do. Letter is a good idea, but I suppose it would end up in the hands of someone who actually was a watcher of that particular channel... It is so difficult--we canceled our subscription to the Chicago Tribune, when my hubby tossed yet ANOTHER 'Family Section' featuring alternative lifestyle couples' issues on the front of the section ..... There is such an agenda! An attempt to 'mainstream' it right into the general media in such a way as to numb our brains into thinking it is not just acceptable, but MORE normal than 'Ozzie and Harriet', you know? Dudette
I lived practically all my childhood without tv, I'm sure your kids can do the same.

ofpheritup
MAY I OFFER MY LITTLE HUMBLE OPINION....HAH Keep the cable, there is more good on it than bad. Write a letter to your cable company. Throw in a little prayer and fasting. Don't watch that particular show. Write the show let them know you won't be watching them anymore and why. Start a petition, surely, hopefully you are not the only one who feels that way. I don't have cable and I am getting a commercial for INTERACTIVE MALE. Where guys get to call guys. YUCK. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
