mariology21
I'm not sure if this is the correct board to place this question but here goes..... Next year I'm planning on having a once a month "class" for all my catechists. I wasn't too sure on what to teach them or present to them, but I'm finding that many of them need more indepth "teaching" or "training" then they have got in the past (I'm going into my third year at this parish as Facilitator of Religious Ed....now that most of the "bugs" are out of the program and me moving in, I'm going to focus on my catechists this year.) At first I was thinking of taking a different topic and tackling that each month. But now I'm thinking of possibly sticking with the Creed as the basis....each month take a different part of it and go off from there. Since that does have everything we believe as Catholics right in it. What do you all think? And does anyone know of any good resources that I could use? Any suggestions? Ideas? Thanks! ~Jen

phatcatholic
the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which was published for catechesis, uses the creed as an outline. so, i would go thru the catechism and see how they expound upon the different parts of the creed. that would probably be your best and most comprehensive guide.
