Thy Geekdom Come
Okay...I now own a web domain, but I don't have the site up. I have dreamweaver and MC Just has been helping me design it, but there are a few things that need to be worked out. Does anyone know how it works well enough to join my staff and help produce a Catholic website?
Dreamweaver
Heh, I couldn't help but to notice this thread. : Contrary to my name, I know NOTHING about Dreamweaver. In fact, I've had this screenname for a long timei n various forms, way before I even knew about the webpage program. Well, I hope someone more knowledgable can help you out! I actually know HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. like the back of my hand. However, I don't work cheap. hehe Is this a non-profit / volunteer thing, or are you looking to contract people? I did find out, however, that I know the guy who runs CatholicGoldmine...he's a Lincoln semmie (which explains why it hasn't been updated since early 2004)... This is what you'd be working on: http://www.operationmonstrance.org/ That, of course, is the incomplete version. Thy Geekdom Come
So you see that "news" column on the right? Anyone know how I can put text in there without distorting the images?
Thy Geekdom Come
Okay...so...things I need to tackle... 1. How do I put text in the right column without messing up the images? 2. Why don't the links to other sites work? 3. Why do the other pages of the site come up blank when the scripture page, which has the same coding, comes up correctly? 4. How do I upload files like images so that others can download them? 5. Are there any free forum systems out there?
