That definitely makes me feel better...

Does anyone know HOW he does the levitating act???

It is the most guarded secret in magic today. I would venture to say most magicians have no idea how he is doing it. There are many forms of levitation out there, balducci, king rising, etc., but that is the one no one knows and he ain't telling.

Not only do I juggle I delve a bit in magic as well ;)

He has a website as well http://www.crissangel.com/

God Bless

My pastor and I watch him. My pastor is enthralled by his levitation and I just enjoy watching it.

I can honestly tell you though, he is still an entertainer and no matter what seems to be "magical," it is a well-rehearsed part of the play...."all the world's a stage"

the only known form of levitation that i have heard of outside of wires is through a sidhi. But that would be very very bad.

And one note is that usually by magic today we are talking about illusion.

There is real magic, scary magic. Stuff not to be messed with.

But illusions are great. I think one of the funniest things is how readily we believe them. :)

There are other forms of levitation, easily done...but, as you said, mere illusions.

Theo...I TIVOd it...I'm gonna watch it when I get home...

The only thing I saw was when he changed that lady's water to beer RIGHT in front of her and when he had those people go back in the hall (dejavu)...

Was it a good one???

It was really good. I am also on a magic forum where people have mixed reviews, based on the conviction that he is not really "doing magic."

In my opinion though, it is not so much about whether it is real or illusion, it is more about what entertains, and I can tell you, it was definitely entertaining last night...both of his shows.

BTW, Some of the other effects he did besides Deja Vu and the water turning into beer was:
The Pk pen
Card Thru Window
Levitatiing and then throwing a levitated frizbee

In the second episode He ate a wine glass full of needles and some thread, only to have it come out of his belly button and some other stuff I have forgotten.

God Bless
