jp2_rules
Whatever. Its not the point that you arent going to do anything ,its the point that it gets sold on its sexual label and its violence. Thats the only reason people buy it no other.People buy it because they like doing those sinful things, its like they almost get off on it .It is not a good thing at all,the only reason it sells is because the series is known for its sexual and violent nature, that in and of itself is a reason not to buy it ,its like giving money to a movie that goes against God and Church law ,by supporting them you give them money to further their views even more .
ok, first of all, take a deep breath. i feel like i made you angry, for some reason.. seriously, though. i'm not condoning the game. i'm not saying that it's good. i am saying, though, that what i personally have played of it, and what i know my friends play, has nothing to do with sex. and i just don't feel that driving a car around, hitting things and evading cops in a game is not the worse thing. i do think, and believe i said, that it is wrong because it glorifies violence and sex. that's why i say i have mixed feelings. because even though i don't think it's the worse thing in the world, what it is doing in the end is wrong. that's why i'm not going to buy it, and don't really play it at all. nor do i encourage the playing of it. and yeah, ppl do buy it as a way of doing things they'd never do in real life. that's a common arguement among gamers. they can relieve their stress without taking it out on other ppl. is this the ideal way to do it? nope. but is it the worst way, either? i hardly think so. peace, chris

Guest T-Bone
I'm finding it hard to be outraged by the pressence of pornography in a game where you can hire a prostitute and then beat her to death with a baseball bat...
Philippe
the only to get pornography is to hack it with things most people dont even have and its not at all like you think T-bone. Its nowhere near as graphic as you think

Sirklawd
who cares if the game is off the shelf or on it at this point. its already sold 43590843595839583 BILLION copies. 1. yes it would be AWESOME if developers were all moral and made honorable games that didnt cater to complete violence and selfishness. 2. parents need to wake the hell up. this whole thing just proves that you cant rely on the rating of the game. parents need to take an active role in what their children are interested in. it takes about 5minutes to google a review of a videogame and read it, and find out what the content of the game REALLY is. and 3. i think retailers SHOULD card people for games - just like the movies. while there are easy ways around it, just doing it is a step in the right direction. Paladin D
People, its just a game.... I've played RPGs with prostitutes and what not, I've gone on bloody rampages, killing whole towns. I've even played GTA3 and Vice City. Games are just that. GAMES. Adult-themed videogames are nothing new. Back in the Atari games, there were more than a handful of adult videogames. Even the Genesis had a game with an adult easter egg. Also, most people lack the equipment/skills necessary to hack the code in order to access the particular scene, for consoles.
It's safe for stable adults to play GTA, but not children, since they are heavily influenced. The problem is that parents are not being aware of the labelling on these games.

The problem is, older sibilings/parents are buying these games as "gifts" to their younger sibilings/kids.
