inDEED
Also, definitely let me know about last night's I am kind of eager to know what he did.
The other night's episode was okay... He had piercings put in his back and had a helicopter carry him several hundred feet over a desert valley... It was more a feat of strength than an magic trick... You know, the ONE thing that's getting old is how before every trick (or feat), his family is all saying that this is the most dangerous act and then he has to stop for a second to "recoup" and "focus"...I can do without all that carp... Theologian in Training
Bump for Theo...
Thanks. I missed that epsiode, and have not seen any indication that it will be on again. They do like repeating that wine barrely escape, which I was not too impressed with, but I am still curious to see the one I missed. Not so much the hanging on his back from a helicopter as much as the effects he did preceding that. BTW, what were some of the things he did? BTW, if you go to the ellusionist site they are highlighting some new magician who seems pretty good. His name is Daniel Garcia and his effects are pretty cool. goldenchild17
Dude that show is the best! I was starting to think it wasn't the best idea to watch it(seemed kinda demonic at first) but... it's cool.
inDEED
That was my initial reaction, but once you get past the fake goth stuff, you'll see it's pretty amazing!
goldenchild17
Some of the stuff he does is just I dunno. Seems beyond being just a trick. But of course then the regular magic tricks seemed beyond just tricks at the time too. That needle thing was pretty sweet.

LSW
I think his levitation tricks are the best. I have no idea how he does that.

Theologian in Training
Found out where they (Blaine and Angel) learned the swallowing needles routine. It is from an eight volume series by a magician named Tarbell. The books are called Tarbell's Course in Magic, and, based on the many online magic stores I have visited a must for the beginning magician. BTW, swallowing needles is in volume IV. Just thought I would let you know. God Bless
Theologian in Training
InDEED, I am curious, I know you are interested in magician's like Criss Angel, but are you interested in performing your own stuff? I was just curious, because I have a lot of different books, videos, and beginner effects I could recommend. Just thought I would throw it out there and see if you were interested beyond magic as a spectator sport. God Bless
inDEED
It's funny you say that because when I was younger, I was totally into it... Now, though - it's more just to entertainment for me... LOOK INTO MY MIND!!!!
Theologian in Training
np, just thought I would extend the offer. I have not done magic as long as I have juggled, but I still enjoy each in their own way. Enjoy tonight's ep. God Bless
