In England it is illegal and an arrestable offence to discriminate the Catholic religion, only this religion is protected under that UK law.
To discriminate by verbal or text can in fact lead to a criminal conviction.

Now i found a web site today that is just pure sick, twisted and vulgar about Jesus Christ. It is registered with a .net domain name and if its registered in the UK am gonna report it.
How do i find out!
I was nearly sick and the worst i have seen!

Try one of these...

http://www.internic.net/whois.html

http://www.networksolutions.com/en_US/whois/index.jhtml

They might refer you to another registrar, just go to the one they refer to and look for the "whois" link.

God Bless,

THat seems somewhat unusual.. in that it is England w/ this law to protect Catholicism -- did they forget the Reformation? Wasn't it just recently that Catholics couldn't be members of parliament?

In the early 19th century, England was fighting a major war with Napolean, and greatly expanding its empire. However, Catholicism was outlawed and Catholics were not allowed to serve in the military. Catholicism was reinstated, and in order to ensure that the public would not cause any great problem, Catholicism was given protected status under the law.

peace...

It took me a while to search through the law section but i think i found it.
Heres the scanned image of the book...
Here is the law for Christians..
I didnt have time to search the section for the catholic law but i will find them when i am next in.
I have never seen this right used in my time but it can be used is required.
There again in England most are catholic as i think they are in Ireland

A man 44 years of age refused to give his dying wife the drugs she needed because his beliefs did not allow it.
He was prosecuted and charged with man slaughter.

It wasn't long ago, some of you may have read about what happened down London.
A man was arrested for rape but the police needed a sample of blood or urine or sperm. The person refused as his religion states no liquids can NOT be removed from his body. The case fell apart and this ancient law was used and he was forced to give a sample.
He was later convicted of murder.

 • 2 weeks later...

Perhaps this law is void to the Northern portion of the Emerald Isle seeing as how "my people" have been under constant persecution for decades. :(
