White Knight
yeah, Paladin D. sorry i cant quote for some reason... but Star Wars Episode III is rated PG-13 for "Sci-Fi and Some Intense Images".... yet! parents still took younger Star Wars fans to the movie anyway on opening day, there must have been a 3-year-old dressed as Darth Vader watching the movie why wouldn't parents take kids to WOTW then??
Well for one, there is ah uge differance in the graphicly volient images in WOTW than in Ep3. WOTW was alot blooder than ROTS, ROTS had no blood, Just bodies, and a guy who caught on fire. WOTW had Blood and Guts and it was much more visually volient than Episode III. Episode III had some dead kids, and a guy catching on fire, ya thats pretty volient, but its no where near as volient as WOTW Display of Blood and Guts, and intestanes, Brains, Arms, Legs, etc etc. WOTW had all that, it was just limited. People are more grossed out by blood and guts and brains everywhere, than just seeing a body lying on the ground dead. WOTW had these scenes and you'd have to really make them out, but i remember the scene toward the end of the film, where Tom Cruise's character sees "dead bodies, blood everywhere in the fields" while looking for his daughter. WOTW is more volient than Ep3 ever was.

Melchisedec
If you thought war of the worlds represented the descent of humanity. Then DON"T SEE THE WEDDING CRASHERS!!!

DeeDee
I saw War of the Worlds recently and there were a lot of things that troubled me, but overall I thought it was a good film. For one thing it portrayed that we are not alone in the universe -surprise?! And I was reminded of our situation in the world right now where different "worlds" are trying to kill each other daily. We don't have to have "aliens", earthings will bring an end to things on their own, or at least do incredible damage.
Carnanc
I got a profound reminder of my own mortality. Like when Rachel showed her 3rd place ribbon; didn't that seem incredibly pointless? In the end none of that is going to matter.
me to, this was the major message and experience I took from this movie.
