ARGH! I know it's wrong to hate your parents, and I don't hate them, I'm just MAD.

They refused to take me to Mass. Again.

"Oh Vera, honey, we took you last week....you're turning into a religious fanatic...watch your tone, young lady...christmas and eater is enough...we've been taking you once in a while, but today we're tired, and it's a 10 minute drive there and a 10 minute drive back.....you went last sunday....GO TO YOUR ROOM, we're your parents, and you're turning impertinent."

:angry::angry::angry::(:(:(:(

I prayed quietly in my room, and I AM JUST MAD because i am yearning to receive Jesus in Holy Communion and i just REALLY REALLY want to go to Mass. :(:(:(:(:(

Oh to have my own car. Then I'll go to Mass every day.

Wow Vera, I feel for you. I kinda know how you feel. For some odd reason, my parents thougt I thought it was a sin to miss daily Mass for a time. But my parents always go to Sunday Mass. Your anger I think is justified. Your parents have no right to call you a religous fanatic. I hate that word. Prayers to you Vera.

thanks.

I just REALLY feel i'm going to burst.

and my parents are supposed to be catholic. :(

And i have two youger brothers.

What an example, their parents screaming at their sister she's a religious fanatic for wanting to go to daily mass, and her bursting into tears and running upstairs and slamming the door.

<_<

Maybe you should find someone from the parish to come pick you up. Or perhaps walk. If walking is possible you could offer it up.

walking is unfortunately not possible.

And my parents wouldn't agree to let me drive with "strangers" as they'd call anyone willing to drive me.

IT'S SO FRUSTRATING!! :angry::( :(

Maybe one of the church staff can drive you there... those shouldn't count as strangers. ;)

Get the priest to call your parents... maybe he can knock some sense into them. They are sadly mistaken if they think Easter and Christmas is enough churchgoing for a Catholic.

What doesnt kill us makes us stronger. And with the lord you will be strong. Honor thy mother and father. Its hard Vera, i had parents who made me be disinterested in the church growing up. Spend the hour you would be in mass in prayer asking the lords help with your parents. But also study the reading.
